Probably the most interesting story and take on prayer I've seen in a while. I also want to compliment your writing style. You have the ability to tell a great story of history that is somehow very casual. I felt like an old friend was telling me this story in a shabby little pub and it made for a invigorating experience.

As always, highly entertaining read!

Although I usually disagree with most of your conclusions (usually, but not always, and even when I disagree, I am left with a kernel of curiosity at least), this one reminded me of Scot Adam's practice of stating your goals.

Since we are made in the image of God, this prayer relationship must be fractal, and it must be how demons capture our attention; they literally pray to us, asking us to do what they want. But maybe the best way to defend ourselves is to pray to Christ with the same fervor the demons pray to us.
