Thank you for providing a better sort of content. I'm not even a very religious person, but perhaps that is changing. My problem with this age we live in now, the age of "science" is that so much of the basic precepts are based primarily on the "thinkings" of some rather eccentric men who lived between 1700 and 1900. I say eccentric because most men of that time period were not in their barns experimenting with dropping feathers or trying to catch the sparks that flew off their woolen underpants. Or in Darwin's case, being doused with cold water to relieve chronic nausea. (I do wonder what exactly he was eating. Did anyone ask? Sometimes I read bizarre medical histories where it seems the doctors may have overlooked something quite important. There was a woman I read about who was complaining of some kind of indistinct medical problem which was preventing her from doing her "normal 100 mile bike rides." Something was giving her a lot of leg and back pain. Something was making her tired and fatigued. Something, presumably other than her 100 mile bike rides.)
I'm not saying these scientists are wrong necessarily, about everything, but I just can't believe that a couple of dozen guys doing "experiments" in their summer houses in the span of a hundred years just figured it all out. All of it. Figured out. Solved. Fini. Kaput. Done. No more mystery, it's all sorted. Nothing to see here, move along. It just seems highly unlikely. The older I get the more I sort of figure that we do, in fact, have everything completely wrong. Oh sure, we've got some "technology" that works pretty good, but so did the old Peruvians. But I think we're all wrong on life, the universe and everything else.
Indeed. Every civilization that has come before us has thought they had the universe basically 95% figured out, with the remaining 5% shortly coming with a little bit of R&D. We will be seen no differently by the future.
I think evolution has been short changed - the word "evolution."
I am convinced that evolution is one of the most important concepts in the universe, reality, or whatever. It is the process of life. But the concept of evolution and this magnificent word has been captured by apologists for the material basis of life who have invented absurd complexities that defy logic, reality, and common sense.
Everything evolves, but not in the way that Darwinian evolution would have us believe. We have been hoodwinked and evolution weeps at our ignorance, but still it carries on, as it must.
You brought up some good points. A lot of stuff just shouldn't be here.
Thank you, I appreciate greatly that you are here and took the time to read.

You are very welcome. Thank you for being here.
