I’mma go out on a limb here and say there probably won’t be any food shortage. Here, in Europe, or elsewhere.

I know, I know. Fertilizer! Wheat from Ukraine! SUPPLY CHAINZ! Et cetera. Thing is though, I’ve been around the conspiracy block a few times now. Heard about this sort of thing for ages. OPERATION JADE HELM!!!!!! (That’s a deep cut, anybody remember it???)

Look, it never materializes. All the doomsday stuff. It just doesn’t. Of course, simply by law of averages at some point, sometime, in the future, there will be some sort of food crises. You know, I mean we can’t expect to always have all the food we need for all eternity right? But, all else being equal, I’m inclined to dismiss this sort of thing. I’ve come to the point where I believe worrying about the consequences of a conspiracy is itself part of the deception. All of it, I think, is just another manifestation of The Notnilc trying to derail us with doubt, uncertainty, and fear. When it comes down to it, that’s all “they” ever really do, whoever “they” is. More and more I’m convinced that they don’t actually have the power to shove you off the cliff. They can only spook you enough that you’ll jump and accidentally do it yourself.

With that in mind, let’s talk about Covid.

If you’ve been around here a minute you know my thoughts on it well enough. At this point it seems plain to me that, whatever the actual risks were, the perceived risks were somewhere north of a hundred times greater. “The Left”, quote unquote, had a tremendous panic for over two years. Unrivaled by anything else I’ve ever witnessed in my life. The fear was intense, largely unwarranted, and almost entirely ineffectual. People triple masking and bathing themselves in alcohol as they hid behind plastic tarps. Literal insanity. I’ll never forget it.

Ah.

But then… then “The Right” got fearful too. Of something else though. The Right got fearful of the jabs.

Now. I’ve never had the shots and never will. In fact I suffered great personal losses to refuse them. That said, my refusal was not because I’m fearful of the side effects. From all I’ve observed the side effects appear to be real and quite a bit more common than any other “vaccination” that doctors give. Sure. But, also, on the whole, still pretty rare. Just like all the fear from the left side of the aisle about essentially the whole world dropping dead if little Timmy removed his mask at recess didn’t pan out, neither did all the fear from the right. The shots do not, apparently, sterilize people, or kill them. “Vaccine shedding” is not a threat at all, and frankly of even dubious validity. How would that even work? Yes, there does seem to be an uptick in myocarditis across the globe following the mass injection program, and that’s notable and concerning, but, on the whole, most people are okay. At the end of the day neither the Left’s fear of the virus nor the Right’s fear of the vaccine were justified. At least, mind you, on the grounds on which they tried to justified them. As I say, I refused the jabs for another reason which I feel is justified, but that’s neither here nor there for this post.

But notice what happened. “The Reality”, or “The System”, or “The Notnilc”, whatever you want to call it, presented the world with two opposing views, each frightening and oh so terrible. On the left hand we had a potentially life ending, if not world ending scenario and on the right we had the same. On each hand the fear was the same, the only difference was what the fear was about. This my friends is the hallmark of black magic, of the work of wizards. For you see, the ancient art of deception is this: to present two lies, and get the people arguing viciously about which is true.

False binaries.

The bread and butter of the dark arts.

As I’ve written before, magic is very real. It’s called “spelling” for a reason. Words themselves are spells. They control how you think. Enchantment means to be under the sway of a chant. The magician controls your mind by limiting what you’re able to consider as valid solutions to a given problem. It is no different than when a parent, seeking the compliance of a child, gives the child a limited choice. “Would you rather stay and help me clean up or do your homework?” Framing the question in this way feels like a genuine choice to the child, and, in a way, it is. But the secret is that the parent has limited the available choices to only the two most acceptable to himself. Whatever the child picks is fine, because the options the parent did not like have already been taken off the table.

This my friends is Red vs Blue. Republican vs Democrat. Right vs Left. They give you a choice, but only between things they consider managable. Only within the bounds of their game.

False binaries.

No matter what you pick you’re still playing in their sandbox. Still operating under their rules.

Winston Churchill once propositioned a woman for sex in an elevator during a party.

“Madam would you service me for ten thousand pounds?” He asked.

The woman was taken aback. She had not come to the party to prostitute herself.

“Why… Mr. Churchill, I… I’m not, I mean, I suppose I could consider it…”

“Would you do it for ten pence?”

She gasped audibly. “Mr. Churchill! What kind of a woman do you think I am!?”

“We’ve already established that my dear now we’re just haggling over price.”

So it is.

You see, “They” didn’t care if you believed that the virus was overly dangerous or not. Truly they didn’t. They got you arguing instead about whether or not it was dangerous enough to strip you of your rights and liberties. Arguing about mortality rates and comorbidities and so on. Well, case closed. They don’t need anything else. Once you’re arguing about whether or not there is sufficient need to place you under house arrest for having the sniffles, they’ve already won. Like Mr. Churchill’s madam, you’ve already conceded the premise, you’re just arguing about the details.

In like manner they never cared if you got the jab or not. Really. I know it seems like they really really wanted you to have it but what I believe they were actually after was your concession that they had the authority to make you get it. To get you afraid that they’d just hold you down and force a needle into your arm. Once you believe that they have that power, whether or not they do becomes irrelevant. As the famous line from Game of Thrones goes, “Power lies where people think it does.”

It’s fear.

It’s all just fear.

Right or left, pro this or anti that, none of it means anything. At the end of the day if you’re still arguing within that paradigm you’re still accepting reality as presented to you. You’re being handed a narrative and the bounds within which you can argue about it, and then you’re accepting that narrative and picking a side. That’s all. No free thinking is happening here. The side you’ve picked has already been neatly packaged for you, complete with in-group preferences and jokes and a feeling of moral superiority over those dirty “others” that picked option number two.

Oh, pro-jab?! Good choice sir. Ah. A fellow believer in Science. Wonderful. Yes, here you go, here’s your shot, oh and, don’t you know it, we who are pro jab tend to also vote left by the by. Here’s your Ridin’ with Biden bumper sticker. Our team also believes in climate change and renewable energy. Fascists are bad. There you are sir, all vaccinated up. Little band-aid and you’ll be good to go. Okay then, we’ll see you again in six months for the booster, don’t forget to change your Facebook picture to a Black Power Fist. Glory to Ukraine!

Don’t understand it. Kids these days. Did you hear about Q? Where we go one, we go all. I heard Hillary’s being tried by a military tribunal in the underground tunnels. You know Covid was started in a lab right? Chinese commies. Nuke um’ I say. I don’t understand why we can’t just say “all lives matter.” I mean, don’t people think all lives matter? I tell you a story:

Ted is a good friend of mine, as is his wife Mary. Ted is 31, Mary 29, and they have two kids together, Chelsea and Daniel. Now Mary was not at all scared of Covid. Her view? Meh, whole thing was more or less a scam according to her. Ted on the other hand was terrified. He suffered from asthma and so early on in 2020 he declared himself “immunocompromised.” While Mary defiantly refused to wear a mask in public spaces Ted by contrast always wore two. She wanted to go out and live as normal, his social media avatar said “Stay Home, Save Lives.” Mary was fearful and angry, worried that her husband was cowardly accepting a tyrannical fate that would seal the destiny of her and her children by giving away their freedoms. Ted was also fearful and angry, worried his wife might bring home a deadly disease that would kill him or his kids.

When the schools reopened there was talk (which never panned out, note that) of the schools requiring that the children get vaccinated. The vaccination status of their kids had already been a strong point of contention but with this news it became an urgent problem. Mary and Ted both worked. Homeschooling wasn’t an option and private school was too expensive. The fighting between the two was bitter. They called each other names. They separated for months. Narrowly avoided a divorce.

Now.

Here’s my question.

Is that exactly what “they” wanted?

The fear? The fear that caused hatred and bitterness and anger and wrath?

As I wrote here, in Islam they say that demons get special rewards in Hell for breaking up families and ruining friendships. If that’s true think about how many rewards were handed out in Hell over Covid? Over Black Lives Matter? Over Donald Trump? How many are now being handed out over Ukraine?

I don’t know.

A lot though. A whole, whole lot.

But see in Ted and Mary’s case again they almost got divorced over a false binary. Even beyond all the covid stuff, the very idea that their only choices were “Stay together” or “Divorce” was itself a false binary. The demons whisper these things to us to make us feel trapped, like we must choose between two terrible options. This causes fear. Despair. Anxiety. Panic. In this world of infinite choice and possibility they try to narrow and constrain our vision and imagination onto a tiny sliver of outcomes, all bad, and make us fight about them. This is wizardry.

The purpose of this blog dear reader is therefore to make you into a wizard slayer.

I mean that quite literally by the way. Not that you should go out and kill someone of course, but that you disarm them of their power, their magic and deception. You do that by speaking pure, unvarnished Truth. You do that by rejecting their sandbox. If you accept their sandbox, their narratives, then yes, you may follow those narratives to their conclusions, however grim such stories may end. You may be fooled into truly believing that Democracy is under attack by Putin and that you need to go and save it and then get blown up by a missile. In like manner you might have been fooled years earlier into going to spread “freedom” in Iraq and losing your balls to an IED. You accept the narratives then you have to see them through to the end see. That’s how it works. You play the stupid game you get the stupid prize. Point is though, you don’t have to play the game.

There’s nothing to be afraid of if you don’t. There’s actually nothing to be afraid of ever.

Fundamentally, I believe that if you believe in God, if you actually trust God, then nothing can hurt you. We only get into trouble when we stop trusting him and live into all the various sins out of fear. Fear, the lack of faith, the drive to do something to avoid some imagined catastrophe, is the enemy. Why? Because in almost all cases that catastrophe wouldn’t even ever manifest save for the fact that you panicked about it. Your fear gave it life. You always give birth to your own nightmares.

Inflation! Gas prices! How will we eat!? We have to vote ‘um out and tighten our belts! They’re going to make me eat bugs! Live in a pod! They’re going to bring about food shortages and throw us in camps! AAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!

War! We have to launch the missiles or we’ll lose our freedoms! No-fly zone! What!? You don’t want to because you’re afraid it will start WORLD WAR 3!? Is it because you LOVE PUTIN and are a fascist!?

You lunatic! If we send missiles and enforce a no-fly zone the whole world will end in NUCLEAR HOLOCAUST!!!! NATO shouldn’t ever have expanded that far, and the sanctions will just put Putin in a corner. If you really want a solution we have too…

I want you to be free of the mental prisons. Free of the wizardry. Free of the spells.

So, stop believing the lies. Stop living into the Narrative that brings your own destruction. Know The Truth, and The Truth shall set you free.
