Hello friend,
For many years now I have run both this blog (Holy is He Who Wrestles) and a podcast called The Mystical American Patriots Society concurrently, without allowing for much overlap between those audiences. I don’t know, I just have always felt like audio off-the-cuff me is a very different person from the measured, take-my-time-to-think-about-things-and-write-it-out me and I was always worried that people who enjoyed me one way might not so much the other. As time goes on though, I find increasingly that I care less about that sort of thing and have just resigned myself to creating what I want to create and letting those who enjoy it enjoy it and those who don’t, don’t.
So, therefore, this is your invitation to join The Mystical American Patriots.
The show is, or at least can be, a lot more bombastic and controversial than my writings here, as we often directly address political issues and delve more deeply into esoteric and paranormal topics. Moreover, I have a wide sense of humor ranging from corny dad jokes to South Parkian offensiveness, so, you know, listener beware. It’s not a show everyone will like, but, at the same time, everyone is welcome.
Our most recent episode (titled “The Strangest Thing that Ever Happened) I felt was a good jumping on point as it is a broad sampling of all the various things we might cover, in this case, something silly (The possibility Elvis is still alive), something political (The Haitians allegedly eating cats story), and something rather dark (A look back at everything that didn’t add up about 9/11). If you decide to become a listener, you will need patience as I am frequently cursed with audio and internet issues which manifest in many ways as, for example, in the episode in question, I sound as though I have a lisp. I do not have a lisp. That is something Zoom decided to give to me that day. Who knows why. A little joke from the universe I suppose. I also play a little ukulele from time to time to keep things light and do so at the opening of this show, where you will hear my rendition of “Can’t Help Falling in Love.”
I hope those that can will enjoy it. We self-publish the podcast but are also a contributing show on the Alternate Current Radio (ACR) network, and you can find the show either on the ACR website or just on its own in Apple or Spotify. We have a small but very smart community in our telegram channel for financial supporters, which, if interested, you can join by signing up as a financial backer on either our Gumroad or Patreon.
Here are links:
Gumroad (This, for Historical Reasons, is called “The Saint Nicholas Project”, don’t be alarmed by the weird name).
Patreon (Again, for Historical Reasons, called “Soul”.)

I hope to see you around in our community. We are always looking for new people to converse with and to get to help out. I would say the principal mission of our group is to understand the world as it is today on a spiritual level, in order to forge a healthy path forward and, at the same time, reduce the level of hatred and animosity people have developed for one another due to all the confusion.
Thank you for reading, the blog will now continue as normal.

I got here from your podcast. I do like both "flavors" of Mr. Sumo. I sometimes find you are more spicy here actually. But maybe because spiritual matters seem more important than funny politics (to me anyways).
