Overcoming the Notnilc

Citizen. Sovereign.

I’m not in favor of overthrowing the government.

Increasingly, that seems to put me in the minority. What can you do? Times get a little crazy, people want to go nuts and light things on fire. Tale as old as time. During the BLM riots, Nancy Pelosi spoke wisely about the matter. “People are gonna do what they’re gonna do,” she said. Callous? Sure. But correct. Things fall apart. They have a saying in China, “The empire, long divided, must unite. Long united, must divide.” People get bored with the status quo, even if it’s a really good status quo. They want change. They’ll hop on any excuse to flip tables.

So it goes.

I’m not in favor of such for two reasons though. One, quite practical, is that none of the people hoping to overthrow the government on the right or the left have any idea what they’d like to replace it with. If you’re going to tear down somebody’s house “for the greater good”, then you really ought to have a plan for where they’re going to sleep that night. Otherwise, is the good you’re fighting for really “greater?” Doubtful. Nobody seeking to overthrow the system in America has planned for anything beyond the demolition phase. We’re not a serious people. Even our revolutionaries don’t have any particular goals. Say what you will about the Bolsheviks, at least they had a plan. It didn’t go super well, but at least they had one.

The second reason though is that I personally don’t really feel like “the government” is against me. To be sure, there are political forces and ideologies roaming around which want to kill me, my family, and almost everyone on earth. Some of these ideologies even seem to have proponents who are elected officials. That’s not great. But, by and large, the U.S. government has treated me pretty fairly, and I say this as someone who’s been completely against every single Covid mandate of any kind.

“But Yoshi!” I hear you say. “How can you believe the government is fair and also think that all the mandates, wars, and propaganda vomited forth from the halls of power are bad!?” Simple.

Wait. No it isn’t. Scratch that. It’s not simple really. This idea is actually sort of complicated now that I think about it. Let’s restart. Ahem…

“But Yoshi!” I hear you say. “How can you believe the government is fair and also think that all the mandates, wars, and propaganda vomited forth from the halls of power are bad!?” Simple. Complex.

I have a hypothesis that there are two separate things at play.

1. The U.S. government.

2. The Notnilc

Yes, this post is going to get that weird.

Now, this isn’t my hypothesis, as in, I am not the first to formulate it. I’ve expanded on it here and there perhaps but Notnilc’s not my word and I’m not the first to think through the implications of the concept. I think Matt from Quantum of Conscience came up with term. Personally I didn’t really understand it though until I found Owen Benjamin’s later elucidation of the topic. Please follow both these guys. Quite fun, each in their own way.

Notnilc (pronounced Not-nilk) is “Clinton” spelled backwards. It symbolizes two things, one, the true nature of “the system” we find ourselves in combat with, and two, a stereotypical example of one of its most hardened agents.

The system, Babylon, the Matrix, Notnilc… these are all various terms for the Upside Down. Yes, sort of like from the show Stranger Things. It’s the Inversion. The Backwards. The reality system that defines up as down, right as wrong, and black as white. As it says in the Bible, "Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!” See, Notnilc has always been with us. Even from the ancient times. That’s why Babylon is a good name for it also. It’s the kingdom of Satan. A false reality built out of lies. It’s a state of mind more than a physical place, although it manifests into our physical reality wherever its adherents are. Clinton (take your pick which one) is a high priest of the Upside Down. This isn’t a partisan thing mind you. So was Trump. So was Bush. So was Obama. So was just about everybody in recent history that had any political prominence. So if you’re a fan of Hillary and would prefer to call the Upside Down by the name “Pmurt” or “Hsub” feel free to do so. I don’t think ether flows off the tongue as well but you do you.

When you get down to it, Notnilc is essentially an interwoven system of lies designed to blur the categories of reality. Blur the categories. Remember that. Blurring categories is forever and always the goal. Any line or distinction must be erased in order to sow confusion. Why? Because Notnilc can only survive in confusion. Because of itself Notnilc has no power. Notnilc has only influence. You have power. Notnilc only has power to the degree that it can convince you to voluntarily give that power away. There are all kinds of examples we could explore to get the point across here but I will pick one that I feel is fairly accessible. Gun rights. Specifically, gun rights in Australia.

I explain.

You, as a living man or woman, have a right granted to you by God to defend your life if it is threatened. You have a right to self defense. That is a power that you possess and no one can ever take it from you.

Note. They can’t take it.

You can, however, be convinced to give that power away.

That’s Notnilc.

Whatever rights you have granted you by Heaven, Notnilc wants to remove. Not because Notnilc cares over much about this or that issue in particular but because Notnilc wants to make you its slave. Your right to speech, to religion, to self defense, to bodily autonomy? Pick a right. Notnilc wants it gone. But! It can’t simply take them. You see? No. It has to get you to give them up. So, what does Notnilc do? It uses shame. And guilt. And sloppy rhetoric and sophistry. You can hear Notnilc now, can’t you? “You don’t want to contribute to another school shooting do you!? You monster! How could you! If you don’t give up your guns right now you want BABIES TO DIE!”

That’s Notnilc.

It can be an effective strategy. Lot’s of people fall for it.

Australia did.

The confiscation of guns in 1990s Australia was entirely voluntary. The public were convinced by Notnilc that giving away their right to self defense was somehow moral. That it was “the right thing to do.” Even to this day many Aussies are proud of the fact they are defenseless. “Unlike you Americans, we believe in protecting children!” They will shout. Such a person has become an avatar of Notnilc. Not much you can do them.

But see, the guns were never taken. They couldn’t be. It would actually be against God’s law for that to happen, so Notnilc can’t do it. Satan is allowed to speak. To tempt. He’s not allowed to force. So, no, the police weren’t sent door to door demanding firearms. The military was not called in. Instead the Australians were shamed and guilted into surrendering their weapons. But even in that case, it was only for those who fell for the shaming. It is still, today, legal to possess and use guns in Australia. For those who never submitted to Notnilc’s needling it always has been. Over those who it cannot tempt Notnilc has no power. That’s one of God’s rules too.

In like fashion, nobody, ever, not one time, during the entirety of the Covid fiasco has forced you to wear a mask. Or to take a test. Or to get a jab. They simply haven’t. Now Notnilc and its servants, some of whom, yes, are government officials, have certainly threatened you about all that. They tried to bully you into doing it. They tried to make you afraid not to do it. They attempted to shame and guilt you into compliance. “You’re literally KILLING grandma!!!” They shrieked. Sure.

But nobody forced you.

There weren’t any guns to any heads. Why? Because Notnilc can’t actually do that. Doing so is outside the bounds in which Satan is allowed to operate.

“If you don’t get the jab we will fire you!” Notnilc said.

First of all, in many cases, no they won’t. The world is full of people who stood their ground and got their employer to back off this insane demand. If tested in the courts it’s almost always found illegal.

Secondly, even if they do your response should be, “Okay. And?”

See, threat of economic penalties relies on another lie of Notnilc. Namely, that Notnilc is your provider. “Without ME!” it screams, “you will starve to death.” “You’ll be homeless!” “You’ll have nowhere to go!”

In effect, Notnilc is trying to convince you that It, not God, is looking out for your life. That It, not God, is in control. That you must submit to It, and Its’ rules in order to eat. That It, and not God is the provider of your bread.

But what did Jesus say?

 Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life?

And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

The Gentiles, the Godless, they heed the lies of Notnilc. They live into them. They make the lies real. If Notnilc tells you that you can’t live without It, and you believe it. Then, it’s true. Then you can’t. Because you’ll simply be too afraid to ever go against It. You will obey everything It asks of you because you believe that without It, you will die.

It’s not true though.

Not unless you believe it.

But the actual government? The actual system of laws that we have in the United States? That’s not the Notnilc, no matter how much Notnilc tries to blur the lines between the government at itself. The government of Australia actually protects and upholds the ability of citizens to own firearms. That’s the only reason those who did not submit to Notnilc still can. The government of the U.S.A., the actual laws, likewise say that you cannot be given any medical treatment against your will. Corporations, media companies, schools, all these other systems would force jab you if they had the power to. The only thing stopping them is that it’s actually illegal to do that.

See, Mandates aren’t laws. Notnilc has tried to blur the lines between those things but “mandate” and “law” are different words for a reason. If someone tries to use a mandate to force you to act in some way they have no legal authority to require, you can and should seek legal redress against them. The courts will side with you. Why? Because courts judge based on the actual laws on the actual books passed by the actual legislature. Your state governor or your president just by fiat declaring something doesn’t actually put it in the law books. People were just too afraid to fight these things in court. Notnilc told them it was hopeless. Notnilc blurred the lines.

The authorities of the world are actually set up to protect your rights. According to scripture, they’re put there by God, and so, they must be Just. And they are Just, when you think about it. For example, it’s never been a law that you have to do something immoral on pain of criminal penalties. They can’t make it a law that you must steal from somebody, or murder someone, or physically abuse them. They can’t. That would go against a higher law. Such is not permitted.

What they can do, however… what Notnilc can do, is lie about it and say that that’s what they’re doing. They can withhold money if you don’t comply. They can make it a hassle to deal with insurance agencies. They can defame you. They can take away licenses. Sure.

But they can’t force you.

And you shouldn’t be able to be blackmailed by the other stuff because you should recognize that it is God who takes care of you. It’s not Notnilc.

You don’t need Notnilc.

Notnilc needs you.

You have the Divine Spark within you. Notnilc doesn’t. Notnilc is a parasite who tries to convince you to let it feed off of your power. It uses Shame. And Guilt. And Anxiety. And Temptation, Worry, and Fear. These are the weapons of Notnilc. All of them but forms of influence. It has no actual power. You can see through it and push Notnilc aside as nothing more than a ghost. If you want to.

You are actually Sovereign over your own life and your own beliefs and your own actions. God gave those rights.

Notnilc wants to claim all that sovereignty for itself but it can only have it if it convinces you to hand it over.

Don’t.

You’re a child of God. Notnilc is nothing. Notnilc is already rotting in the fires of Hell.
